YOUR DONATIONS MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
What’s more important than saving lives?
Help us keep victims safe, give them hope, and a new start.
Every family member, from children to the involved adult, who lives with domestic violence is a victim. Here’s what your contribution funds for them:
Lifeline Campaign
Families fleeing abusive relationships often leave with just the clothes on their backs and have little or no access to money for their most basic and urgent needs. The Foundation provides emergency funding for:
-
Winter coats, blankets, pajamas, underwear, diapers and formula
-
Gift cards for use at CVS, Walmart, Target, Giant, Safeway, etc. for everyday necessities
Psychological Counseling
The Foundation helps fund therapy through programs for family members of all ages who have experienced physical, psychological, and emotional abuse.
Safety Planning
The Foundation helps fund proactive planning to help domestic violence survivors stay safe.
The Foundation’s Ongoing Initiatives
LAWYER’S INITIATIVE provides pro bono attorneys to help victims secure initial protective and custody orders and other legal services.
BUSINESS INITIATIVE partners with area businesses to provide funding and in-kind goods and services.
COMMUNITY INITIATIVE engages area non-profits in supporting the needs of the Center.
FINANCIAL LITERACY INITIATIVE increases a survivor’s awareness and access to financial information with the goal of providing a better chance for a victim to leave – and not return – to an abusive relationship based on financial dependence.
EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVE establishes educational programs that can provide training with employable skills or reach higher education levels.
